David Maravilla - Guitar and Vocals David lives just outside of Springfield in southwest Missouri, where he ministers to the Church of Christ in Republic. He also owns a business that deals in vintage musical instruments. |
| David began his pursuit of Bluegrass in the late 70’s. During that time, he assisted in forming the band, "Second Wind", whose personnel included Rhonda Vincent... and later, Alison Krauss. Afterward, David joined Alison in her band, "Union Station". During his tenure, they won the 1988 S.P.G.M.A. International Bluegrass Band Contest in Nashville, Tennessee. Although he's respected for his guitar solos, discriminating fans appreciate his rhythm, subtle syncopation, and powerful runs... which combine to accentuate the vocals and other lead instruments. His dynamic guitar work is an essential element in Lonesome Road’s definitive sound. |
